The base of magnetic vinyl is high-quality PVC material. This material is waterproof and comes in two surface finishes: matt and gloss. It meets strict eco-friendly standards like EN71, RoHS, and ASTM. So it is safe for different uses. Magnetic vinyl is ideal for two main printing methods: digital inkjet printing and screen printing. It works well with solvent, eco-solvent, and UV inks. This versatility lets users create clear, long-lasting prints.
We add an advanced UV back coating to our magnetic vinyl. This coating prevents surface staining and sticking. It also stops the material from blocking or getting damaged. For better weather resistance, we offer an upgraded version with high-quality PP on the back. This makes the product more durable in outdoor conditions.
Magnetic & Physical Performanceion
Magnetic vinyl has two main magnetic types: standard energy (isotropic) and high energy (anisotropic). The magnetic force changes with thickness. For standard energy models: 0.4mm (16mil) has ≥17g/cm² force, 0.5mm (20mil) has ≥22g/cm², and 0.7mm (30mil) has ≥34g/cm². High energy models are much stronger: 0.4mm has ≥32g/cm², 0.5mm has ≥40g/cm², and 0.7mm has ≥60g/cm². High energy magnetic vinyl also has better magnetic energy and remanence.
In terms of physical performance, it has a wide working temperature range: -26℃ to 80℃. At 20℃, it can be coiled to a 12.7mm (0.5") diameter without cracking. Its hardness is Shore D35~50, and we can adjust this for customers. These features make it easy to store, transport, and use in different environments.
Key Specifications & Customization
The total thickness of magnetic vinyl ranges from 0.35mm to 1mm. The width options are from 620mm (24 inches) to 1.27 meters (50 inches). We also offer a new 60-inch wide sheeting for larger projects.
Customization is a big part of our service. Customers can choose standard PVC colors: white, black, red, yellow, blue, green, and orange. They can also request their own custom colors. We provide precut custom shapes and custom packaging. High energy magnetic vinyl is available in all thicknesses. We also offer eco-solvent PET and PP film options.
